Cake Smash Photographs
It's been a long time since I have posted. Who would've thought work, having a baby and all other sorts of fun would put my photography business on hiatus for a bit. But, I have not stopped taking pictures during that time, and have some exciting ones to share (including a super fun engagement shoot I did a few months ago at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC).
But I figured I would get my photography blog going again by posting my daughter Belén's 1st birthday cake smash. My beautiful baby girl was born May 5, 2016, and she just made the date with 8 minutes left! What is actually really cool about her birthday is if you add mine, which is 4/4, and my husband's together, which is 1/1, that comes out to her birthday, 5/5. Yes, yes, cheesy I know, but I still think it is cool. Another really cool thing about her birthday is that she is born on my best friend Stephanie's birthday, who is also her guidemother.
The photos were taken with a Nikon D750 and a mix of the NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8G ED and NIKKOR 85mm f/1.4G lenses. I edited them in Lightroom and used the Mastin Labs Fuji Pro 400H Neutral preset. So enough of the ramblings, I hope you enjoy some of the photos from the first birthday cake smash!
