Fruit & Vegetable Garden
This sunny, productive space is a mix of edibles and pollinator-friendly companions, designed and tended entirely by hand. At the center, a trellis holds cucumbers on one side and tomatoes on the other. To the left, a bed of peppers (sweet and hot varieties) and eggplant thrives, while to the right, late-season bush beans give way to fall plantings of carrots and lettuces — the young seedlings are protected by a circle of branches.
Lining the fence are blueberries, blackberries, and raspberry bushes, which provide seasonal harvests for both people and birds. Beneath the trellis, a small herb bed of basil, sage, oregano, and rosemary adds flavor to the kitchen and fragrance to the garden. This space reflects the joy of growing food alongside flowers, keeping the soil healthy and the pollinators well-fed.
Note on Plant Names
I’ve identified these plants using the PictureThis app and my own observations. While I’ve tried to be as accurate as possible, I’m not a botanist — so there may be the occasional mix-up. If you spot something I’ve mislabeled or know a better ID, I’d love to hear from you!
